A perfect campsite for exploring Northern Ireland

Our campsite and caravan site is tucked away on our family farm, just 6 miles from bustling Ballycastle and a stones' throw from the North Coast dramatic coastline in the awe-inspiring Glens of Antrim. Our family-friendly campsite is ideally located for exploring Northern Ireland- if you manage to get bored of the stunning views from the farm that is!

Walks

We have some great walks around the farm. Try a leisurely stroll around the river walk, a bracing walk around our very own waterfall or hike our mountain tracks to our very own Vanishing Lake

Lake

The Carey River flows from the highest part of our farm at Loughareema to Ballycastle beach- hence the name Watertop! The river, lake and waterfall are in the heart of the farm, offering lovely views from the caravan & tent pitches. Its the perfect location for a family BBQ!

Activities

We've been a favourite family-friendly campsite for generations! Keep everyone entertained with our crazy golf, pedal karts, giant slides and children's play park. With so many walks, bike trails and farm animals to befriend, it’s the perfect place to burn off some energy.

Wildlife

We raise sheep and cattle breeds which are suited to our challenging climate. We have spent decades maintaining and improving wonderful habitats around the farm. The rest of the farm is a Site of Special with Hares, foxes, badgers, otters, wild deer and over 27 species of birds having been spotted at last count so we must be doing something right!

Activity

The McBride family have been welcoming generations of caravans and campers looking to get away from it all for over 30years! Our 4th generation family farm is home to over 400 sheep, cows, horses, ducks, chickens and of course our wee team of sheepdogs. We’ve got fresh air, a gazillion stars, waterfalls, wooly neighbours and a mysterious vanishing lake waiting for you to explore
