Pitch perfect
Our farm is located just outside Ballycastle – ideally located for exploring the Causeway Coast and Glens of Antrim. We’re one of the few sites in Northern Ireland that have spaces for touring caravans, campervans and tents. We’ve been welcoming adventure travellers and happy families for over 30 years to our small friendly site.
Our pitches are in 3 separate areas – keeping those peaceful vibes! Each area has lake, river or farm views and most our caravan & tent camping pitches have electric hook-up available, making those nights below the stars a wee bit handier…
We are open from Easter – Halloween
Ps. Our camping chalet is available all year round on AirBnB

Things you want to know
Here are some of our FAQs and ‘need to knows’
After over 30 years as an open farm we ceased operating as an activity centre in 2020. We are no longer open for daily visitors or offer activities, but we have retained a few of our campers’ favourites including: children’s’ play area, monster slide, 9 hole crazy golf course and pedal-karts.
We don’t have a petting area but as we are a working farm you can expect to have a few woolly neighbours nearby as well as cows, horses, chickens, ducks, donkeys and occasionally a friendly rabbit, visiting swans and of course our friendly sheep dogs
Yes we have 10AMP 3 pin standard electric hook-ups available (£) for tourers/ Campervans and tents. You will need your own 3 pin cable
Sure can! Fire pits/BBQs must be raised off the ground/table so the grass isn’t damaged. Fire pits are available to rent on site or you can bring your own. All wood must be purchased on site
Just be mindful of fellow campers and responsible around flames…
Yes our farm cottage museum is popular with campers and a cosy place to gather round the traditional open fire on chilly evenings
We are working on a dedicated kitchen area but in the meantime we provide a communal fridge/freezer, electric kettle and indoor dish-washing area. There are plenty of picnic tables around the site
We have hot water showers, separate toilets, a baby changing area and disabled toilet and shower, all included in the price. Indoor dishwashing area, covered eating areas, picnic tables, drinking water, elsan points included plus laundry facilities (£)/ The facilities are central to the 3 camping/caravan areas and the very furthest pitch is less than 250m from the facilities (3minute walk)
Our caravan/campervan hardstands are 9m wide x 8m long concrete/gravel. Grass pitches for all types start at 8m x 8m, most tent pitches are bigger. If you have an unusually large vehicle or giant tent, please advise when booking. We have had all sorts of amazing, converted vehicles so can usually find a space suitable
Yes well behaved dogs are welcome, but they must be on a lead at all times. Dog muck can cause severe illness in livestock so please make sure you pick up after your furry friends.
Maximum 2 dogs per pitch
Yes there is room for 1 car at each pitch. In inclement weather we may ask you to offload and park in the carpark which is central to all pitches (extra cars can also be parked here).
No wi-fi available- ah the perks of rural life! There is very good 4G signal on most networks.
No sorry, though there are plenty of excellent pubs, eateries and supermarkets 10 minutes away in Ballycastle or Cushendall.
Yes! We have 6 miles of gravel tracks around the farm which are ideal for mountain biking off for some great views. For gentler or more child friendly routes, Ballypatrick forest next door has several traffic-free tarmac paths for walking or cycling.
Sorry we don’t have car charging facilities, the nearest are in Ballycastle (6miles)
We regularly accommodate DOE/scouts groups, family groups can be accommodated (please email your request) but we don’t accept large noisy parties sorry. We do have a wild camping area which is popular if you really want to get away from it all!
Deposits are non-refundable and camping is an adventure no matter the weather! Any discretionary refunds (up to 48hr of arrival) are subject to £5 admin fee. If you can’t make it please be nice and let us know you aren’t coming.
If you can, please try and keep cash alive! Every card/paypal transaction charges businesses a fee, most small businesses will thank you for paying in cash, though we have a card machine and QR codes for payment on arrival.
We can’t allocate pitch numbers in advance but we do aim to please if we can!
Check-In from 2pm, check-out by 11am (can be flexible on request and parking available in carpark if early/late)

Rules of the farm...
We don’t really like a lot of rules and if we can help in any way or want to stay a little longer we will try our best to accommodate.
All we ask is that from 10pm the site falls silent. If you are looking for evening entertainment and a party into the night, we might not be the site for you.
